On April 30th Red Card Cancer, Champions International Camps and the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center announced a new partnership bringing legendary Italian soccer legends to the States this summer to host a series of youth soccer camps. Famed Italian International and AC Milan defender Alessandro "Billy" Costacura joined Dr. William Nelson at Hopkins with our own pediatric oncology patients and their families to celebrate this announcement. Through the personal generosity of Dr. Nelson and donor Bob Smith, Red Card Cancer announced the Dunbar High School boys and girls soccer team will be attending the Baltimore Champions Camp in July organized by famed local coach Pete Caringi.
